josefine hellstrom hanssons debut track -water cave- on hmwla received adj support from ailario alicante, robert babicz, piemont, slam, paco osuna, horse meat disco, nick warren, gabriel ananda and ame. now the malmo-based producer and dj readies a three track techno / house ep on hmwl s vinyl sublabel heartbreak records. on a-side alongside -water cave- josefine offers a peak hour techno weapon called -sensus-. on b-side we find the smooth melodic -volcanics- at 118 bpm while fellow swede martinez deconstructs sensus into a jazzy, mellow piece of minimal tech.

after releasing brand new material on dum034, dum records are dipping into the label boss�s production archives for the next one: it is a reissue that features tracks from a number of classic mono junk releases. two came on trope records, one in 1995 and one in 1993, and the last pair of cuts come from 1996 when they were released on plug research. arguably some of the influential finnish producer�s finest work, all of the tracks here emphasize how long he is operating on the top of his game already.

radio slave, spencer parker and mr. ties return under their b.a.d.s moniker with remixes of last years iconic hous-o-matik hom-o-patik release. b.a.d.s. is an acronym of berlin amateur dramatics society, the project was established by edwards, parker and de nittis for the original release in tribute to berlins homopatik party, the monthly event series helmed by mr. ties himself. in the house of ties remix a syncopated breakdown erupts into a frenzy of rumbling kicks, infectious vox and montefioris charismatic saxophone. in contrast, parkers reinterpretation is more mesmerising in nature with echoing stabs, reverberating vocals and eerie organ chords.

six years after his mila ep, uk techno artist lee renance, better known as 100hz with james chapman, is finally back on bosconi with another strong 3 tracker release called -circles-, a combination of very sought-after gems and reworks of old tunes: the record begins with the gentleness of the groovy and jazzy vibe of that mega rare undergound deep anthem named -shoot the bar-, a track originally out in 1998 on pacific records which many people have been probably waiting since long time for a repress, while on b side the artist presents himself under one of his more obscure aliases as mr format, going trough more voodooish and hypnotic dub techno territories with a pitched down version of primary colours track, an undiscovered and carefully crafted secret weapon previously released on his own imprint format records. last cut of the record is a totally renovated version of the track oliva out in 2009 on the greatest french logistic records. in this new version , �oliva funk� epic strings and pads merge with compelling and engaging beats creating a levitating effect which drive the mind and the mood of the dancefloor into dreamy soundscapes. you ll make it yours.

padez is a producer from a town near mannheim which meant growing up fully submersed into the vibrant electronic music movement of mannheim and frankfurt area, but his influences grow roots deeper into the golden age of hip-hop, as well as jazz, soul, funk etc� he started producing in 2009, sharing music just in between a circle of friends, and it was not until 2013 that he had his first digital release out on basti grub�s hoehenregler records. in the meantime he took the chance to dive deeper into the sound with his friends sedee. releases on valioso recordings and medeia records among others can be expected as a result of this collaboration. the love reloaded ep on kanzyanis jesus loved you label is his first vinyl release and a homage to the music he is essentially influenced by. the ep features 3 intrinsically groovy tracks, permeated with heavy baselines and driven by upbeat, slightly broken rhythm patterns, oozing a sublime soulful vibe at the same time. truly a dance-floor delight!

after the debut release on do not sleep become a sure fire club hit, the ibiza party turned much loved house and tech label now has another weapon up its sleeve. the next release is from perel, is titled charles manson and features another standout remix from resident darius syrossian. perel is a berlin based dj, producer and vocalist who is quickly rising through the ranks. she has released both originals and remixes on o*rs before now, and has a robust house and techno infused sound that simply makes you want to dance. as a dj she is a regular at cool spots like farbfernseher and impresses here with what she serves up for do not sleep. the original is a chunky, no-nonsense house track with bouncy bass, subtle vocals and the sort of futuristic and soulful pads that help make it really stand out. it s a slick, well produced sound that is sure to make it into many top record bags in the coming weeks and months. the remix from darius is a subtle one that layers in some trance inducing vocals and extra breakdowns so as to really highlight the powerful effect of the drums each and every time they drop.

globetrotting dj and producer luca venezia, better known as curses, indulges in his nocturnal and romantic side, revealing a penchant for dark basslines. jetzt oder nie opens proceedings with a straightforward bass and infectious arpeggio line. sebastian voigt s reinterpretation keeps the focus in the deep techno territory, introducing a steady paced and anxious facet. stepping into an industrial influenced soundscape, power of darkness revolves around the hypnotic vocal hook, gradually transcending the listener into a late-night dancefloor trance. infinity maker plays on the mesmerising repetition of the initial coarse drum pads, resulting in a straight-up techno tool. the synth lead stays in the deep end, progressing to a beautifully dubby and atmospheric finale.
